Alliance
Laser Technologies, a company driven by innovation
and a commitment to excellence, was started in 1989. That year,
Ben Brady started remanufacturing toner cartridges under the name
Laser-Tex, in Fort Worth, Texas. In the same year, Bill Tapp started
remanufacturing toner cartridges under the name Laser Care, Inc.,
in Arlington, Texas.
In 1993, Ben
and Bill, who had become acquainted at a remanufacturing industry
conference, decided that great strides could be taken by joining
their individual expertise and combining their companies. That
year, Laser-Tex and Laser Care, Inc. were merged. The resulting
company was Laser Care, Inc. d/b/a Alliance Laser Technologies.
Since that
time, Alliance Laser has become the fastest growing and largest
toner cartridge remanufacturing company in Tarrant County, and
one of the largest in the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Our success
is due to our commitment to producing the highest quality products
available, to providing fast and dependable service to our clients,
and to being our client's "one-stop" laser printer products and
service center.
Our History
Alliance Laser
is the result of the merger (or alliance) of two Dallas/Fort
Worth Metroplex laser printer toner cartridge remanufacturers.
Ben Brady started Laser-Tex in Fort Worth in 1989. Bill Tapp started
Laser Care, Inc. in Arlington in 1989.
In 1993, Ben
and Bill merged their individual remanufacturing companies and
became Laser Care, Inc. d/b/a Alliance Laser Technologies.
In mid-1997,
Billy Crenshaw, who had, as an independent contractor, worked
with Laser Care (Bill Tapp’s company) since 1989, and with Alliance
Laser Technologies since 1993, in providing laser printer repair
service to Alliance clients, purchased an ownership interest in
Alliance Laser and became a part of our company.
Bill Tapp,
with over eighteen years of experience in the banking industry,
is the President and General Manager of Alliance. He oversees
daily operations, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable,
and the financial aspects of the company.
Ben Brady,
with many years of technical experience, is Vice President and
Operations Manager of Alliance. He oversees the research and development
department, toner cartridge production, and quality control departments.
Billy Crenshaw,
with over ten years of experience as a copier and laser printer
service technician, is Vice President and Service Manager. He
oversees the service department, serves as the head service technician,
and provides the training and supervision of our other service
technicians.
Our Growth and Success
Alliance Laser
is not only one of the oldest laser printer toner cartridge remanufacturing
companies in the DFW Metroplex area, we are the largest such company
in Tarrant county.
Why
is being the largest significant?
It’s significant only because we reached that position without
marketing and sales personnel, and without any advertising other
than the local yellow pages. And that means we had to be doing
things right! It means that our clients were very satisfied with
our products and our service and referred their clients and friends
to us! All our growth is the result of customer referrals and
our local yellow page advertisements. This web page is our first
effort to market our company beyond what we have done in the past.
Our growth
and success is the direct result of our ability to adhere to our
original mission: to be a company driven by innovation and
a commitment to excellence, which offers superior products and
laser printer repair service at reasonable prices, and to do so
promptly and professionally.
